Wow is all I can say about smart board! This thing is amazing and can be very very useful in the classroom. In essence it acts like a chalkboard/markerboard but with so many more functions. I was talking with my sister-in-law (who is a teacher) yesterday about smartboard and she said she uses one in her classroom that even records (audio and video) all of her lectures and everything she writes on smartboard.
The one negative I found was that it got out of alignment easily and it took some time and fix it.
All-in-all however I really like smartboard and hope that someday I will teach in a classroom that has smartboard.
