Second Life

I think that second life could be a fun thing for my students to do on their own, but I'd want to be able to make sure that they understand the risks with being on websites like that, and that they know to not give out any personal information to anyone. If its one of their actual friends from calss, I would prefer if they only give out personal information through a closed chatroom or e-mail, so that nobody can get their information exept for the person that they send it to. I'm not really sure that I could incorporate second life or an avatar into my classroom, but if their is a safe way to do so, I would be willing to try it.
